There are seasons in life where we are going through hardships and we may wonder where God is in the midst of our struggles. We look at everything going wrong around us and we don't see God, but He is always with you.
Rest assured that He is doing a new thing within you. When you can't see Him move in your situation, He's doing a work within you, preparing you for what's next. Your roots have to be grown and strengthened before the flowers can bloom.
Think about a tree in the winter, on the outside it almost looks dead but on the inside it's roots are growing deeper and stronger so that in spring it can support the new growth and flowering.
You can't see the roots growing, but you know they are. You can't always see the work God is doing in you but you can trust and know that through every hard season He is preparing you for blessing. There is a purpose for the pain, God always works it out for good.
Prayer:
Thank you God that you are always good and you work everything out for our good. Thank you for preparing us and using our difficult seasons to grow us. We trust in your plan and that you will bring us into a season of blessing at the right time. Strengthen us and help us grow closer to you, Lord. Help us to see and know that you have a purpose for our pain. Thank you for your grace and mercy. In Jesus name, Amen.
Verse:
For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. Isaiah 43:19 NLT
