We are God's children. We belong to him. He is our Father.
When you chose to believe in God and his son, you are choosing to enter into his family. You are choosing to have a relationship and to experience the fullness of His love for you.
God loves us and wants a relationship with us whether we believe in Him or not. But we can't experience His love without believing in him. He created us for a purpose and wants a relationship with us.
When we believe in God he accepts us into his family. He will never leave us or abandon us. He loves us because we are His children.
Prayer:
Lord we thank you for your love. We thank you that you accept us into your family with all our failures and flaws. Mold us into the people you have for us to be. Take our life and use it to bring you glory. We love you and we lay our life down for you. You are our good Father, in Jesus name we pray Amen.
Verse:
But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:12-13 ESV
