Stay alert! The enemy is always on the search to see what he can steal, kill, and destroy and when he can't do that he does everything in his power, to discourage and distract us. He is actively searching for ways to go against us.
But take heart, don't let this discourage you. The enemy will always try to take you from God but he will never succeed. Through our Lord and savior Jesus we have a way out of his grips. When we accept Jesus into our heart he will be with us. He will fight on our behalf.
You are not alone in your suffering, you are not the only one tempted with your past. It's ok to struggle sometimes as along as you always stand firm in your faith and lean on the Lord for strength.
Prayer:
God we thank you for your shield of protection around us. We know the enemy has plans to destroy us but we thank you that because of you his plans will not prosper and we will see the victory. Help us to stand strong in our faith and hold on to hope. Help us to trust that you will take care of us and to keep our eyes focused on you so none of the noise in the world will distract us from you, in Jesus name we pray Amen.

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering you are. 1 Peter 5:8-9 NLT
