All of the things in our life and our life itself is all because of God and all that He has done for us. So in return, we should do all things for God and live our lives for God.
We mess up time and time again in our daily lives and make so many mistakes, whether small or big. God still loves us all the same and continues to give grace upon grace and mercy beyond mercy, even if most of our mistakes are made by straying away from God and His counsel. He is still merciful to our faults. Jesus laid down His life in a very gruesome way so that we could live a life with second chances.
Our God is so good, and he deserves all the glory. We are lucky we get to give Him glory and be in His presence. He has done so much for us and gives us so many blessings, but sometimes in our “busy” and “hectic” lives, we forget or just don't recognize how much God has really done for us. Sometimes it even feels hard to be thankful when you're not looking for things to be thankful about, you can overlook a lot of blessings with negativity, or when you're just not looking for them.
The key to being happy with what you have is looking at all you have and recognizing that just because most of it isn't new and shiny doesn't mean it is any less valuable or any less of an answered prayer.
