The Lord has showed us time an time again that He can do a lot with a little. If you look at the story of feeding the 5000, that's more than enough of an example.
Jesus fed 5000 men not even counting all the woman and children that were there with only 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish, and they still came back with Twelve baskets of leftovers. Isn't that an amazing story of gods glory?
Why would we ever doubt his power when he has done miraculous things such as that story. Within that story it started with prayer Jesus blessed the food and tore it into pieces so it could be distributed to the people.
So going to Matthew 7:7 we see that if we ask we shall receive if we seek we shall find and if we knock the door shall be opened to us.
It sometimes seems like a bother to ask for help even when we are asking God but He hears our request and he wants us to come too him in everything even the small things. It all starts with prayer.
Prayer:
Lord, help us to come to you in every thing we do no matter how big and no matter how small. Help us to make You our first response and not our last hope. Give us a desire to call on You in every circumstance even if we just need Your decrement in our situation. Help us to give up what we need to grow with You on the path You have for us. In Jesus Mighty Name We Pray, Amen!
