God rescued us from our sin and darkness. He came down as a perfect human full of endless love and kindness, completely lacking of sin. Jesus died on the cross in our place, not so that we would owe Him a great debt we'd have to repay, but that we would be free and that we might choose to know Him and love Him in return.
God wanted genuine relationship with us so much that He was willing send His only son to take the punishment we deserved so that we could have eternal life with Him.
We are now able to walk in God's presence and have a personal relationship with Him. There is nothing more important than growing our relationship with our Father who created us to worship Him.
Prayer:
God we thank you for your blessings. We thank you for sacrificing your son for us, you are so good God. Help us to keep our focus on you and keep you our number one priority. Let us never forget what you've done for us and where you've brought us from. Help us to follow your leading and let everything we do glorify you. In Jesus name, Amen.
