God is a loving Father

God is a loving Father

This passage reminds us that God is not distant and that He’s a loving Father who loves to bless His children. Jesus’ words encourage us to come boldly to Him. When we ask, we acknowledge our need for Him. When we seek, we pursue His presence and will in our lives. When we knock, we come in faith, trusting that God’s timing and ways are perfect and His will, not our own will be done.
Sometimes we hesitate to bring our needs before God because we fear the outcome or feel unworthy. But Jesus assures us that God gives good gifts, it may not always be what we want, but always what we need. The Father’s heart is generous, and His plans are always for our good.
Today, trust that your prayers are heard, your seeking is noticed, and your knocking is never in vain. Keep seeking Him, and watch how He opens doors in His perfect time, and the blessings He places on your life.
Prayer:
Father God,
Thank You for being a good and loving Father who listens when we call.
Teach us to ask with faith, seek with consistency, and knock with trust and believe that You will move. Help us to trust that You know what is best for us, even when Your answers don’t come the way we expect and aren't what we expect. Open our heart to receive Your wisdom, peace, and direction. Let our prayers draw us closer to You, not just to the blessings we desire but to grow our relationship with you each and everyday. Father, we trust that You are faithful, kind, and always working for our good and we are grateful for it. In Jesus name, Amen.
Verse:
7 “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. 9 “You parents—if your children ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead? 10 Or if they ask for a fish, do you give them a snake? Of course not! 11 So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.
