Hear and Take Action
We are called to hear God's word. We need to hear God's word and hide it in our hearts to be wise. But Matthew 7:24 tells us it is not enough to just hear his word, even the wicked know God's word, but we must also do what his word says. We must take this knowledge and act on it, love others like he loves us, forgive others, help the poor, worship God just to name a few. We must be the hands and feet of Jesus. Hear and take action, show others the love that he shows us and bring others to the throne of the Lord.
PRAYER:
Lord today we ask that you flood our heart and our mind with your word. Help us to be full of the knowledge of your word. Help us to have a teachable spirit. Lord help our knowledge of your word to continue to grow, not just grow but grow in a deeper understanding. Lord we want to be your hands and feet, we don’t want to be stagnant lukewarm Christian’s God. We want to follow through with your word, God give us a hunger to serve you and honor you Lord in Jesus name we Pray Amen.
