Daily Devotion 8-31-23

All things belong to the Lord. He is over all things and in control of all things. Yet he still loves each and everyone of us more than we can even fathom. He cares about our life, our worries, our dreams, our heart aches. He is with us through everything and knows everything about us. The Lord is so good, he is all powerful. He is worthy of our praise and devotion. When we surrender to the Lord and his will, our life will be better. He does not lead us harshly but with love.

Prayer:

Lord we are coming to you with grateful hearts. Help us to always remember your goodness and love. We surrender our life to you and we ask that you take control. We want our lives to honor you and point to you. Mold us into the people you have for us to be, in Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Verse:

Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.
