God Provides
Often times we can get down and look at our situation and think why don't I have more. Why does this person have this and I don't? Why is their house nicer than mine? We can begin to question God and ask him why he isn't giving us more. Or maybe you are struggling in an area of your life and you feel like God has left you or isn't providing. God is our provider, he supplies our every need even when it looks impossible. He never leaves us and always takes care of us. Just because you don't have everything you want or think you should have doesn't mean God has left you. It means your desires and your wants may not be aligning with what God has for you. Often times we can see abundance as the only way God can bless us. We need to learn to be content with what God has given us. You may not have the nicest house or the most money, but that is not what this life is about. We are here to serve and honor God and let him handle the rest. He will provide for us, he will lead us. You just have to be willing to be content with what he has given you, or you will never see his blessings. You will be blind to all he has done for us. Nice things are great, but nice things aren't going to get you an eternity in heaven. Don't build your treasures here and miss Jesus when he is already preparing a place for you in heaven. We need to be content in every circumstance and trust that God is our provider.
Prayer:
Father we come to you humbly. We apologize for the times we couldn't see what you were doing in our lives because we were focused on having more than you provided. We repent of any amount or area of greed we have in our life. Change our hearts and desires Lord. Teach us to be content in every Blessing you give us and to see things for what they are not what we think they should be. We love you and we thank you for your many blessings. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on you in Jesus name we pray, Amen.
