God is Still With Us
Looking around at the world today you can see a lot of evil happening, in our government, our schools, music, tv, books, just about everywhere. It can feel very heavy, looking at all the negative. But when we shift our focus to God we will begin to see him everywhere. God has not abandoned us, if you want to see him in the world today all you have to do is look. When you sit down to eat dinner tonight think about the fact that God loves you so much that he perfectly planned and timed each step for you to have each food item on your plate right now. First he made sure the food was available to you and then he provided a way for you to pay for it. So much love goes into you being able to have a meal that we don't even realize it and that is just one of the many things God does for us. We couldn't even list all the ways we could see God's love here on earth if we tried. He is still here, he is still moving, he is still providing, and he is still loving us.
Prayer:
Lord thank you for your love. Thank you for all the many ways you take care of us. Help us to look for you and your love in all things, to not be overwhelmed by the evil we see, and to trust that you are with us, in Jesus name we pray Amen.
