Daily Devotion 11-3-23

Nobody likes to be corrected. We don't like to be wrong, oftentimes we think we are right and everyone else is wrong. But being corrected is an important and very necessary part of growing in your walk. We need to be stretched and pushed to do better and be better. If we don't know we are wrong, we can't fix it. This scripture tells us that the Lord corrects us because he loves us. He loves us too much to let us blindly walk around thinking we are doing good when we aren't. So, when we feel like we are being disciplined we need to take it as an opportunity to grow closer to God and know that he is working on us because he loves us.
Prayer:
Lord, we thank you for your love. We ask that you discipline us, mold us into the people you have for us to be. People who honor you with all things. Lead us and guide us on the path you have for us and help us to be your light, in Jesus name we pray Amen.
Verse:
Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3:19‬ ‭ESV‬‬
