We are children of God. He has delivered us from evil. We don't have to dwell in darkness. He has forgiven our sins and restored us to the kingdom of light. The devil has no power over us. The world we live in may be full of darkness, but we can choose to dwell in the light. We can choose to make our home with Jesus, not in this world. No matter where you are God has already delivered us. God has done his part now it is our turn to make a choice. To choose him and look to the light. We have free will, there are a lot of times we blame God for our circumstances. We get mad about where we are, when oftentimes we have chosen to be in this place or we are simply unhappy because things are not happening on our timeline. We will all go through bad things but that doesn't mean we have to turn from God. You can be facing bad circumstances and still be living for God and choosing to be a part of his Kingdom.
Prayer:
Lord we thank you for your goodness and your many blessings. We thank you for the freedom you have given us. Help us to look to you always and not allow ourselves to wonder. Help us to be full of faith and peace, trusting you in all circumstances, in Jesus name we pray Amen.

He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
