We are constantly at war. The enemy is always attacking. We face spiritual battles everyday even if we don't see it. The enemy will do anything he can to tear you down and try to pull you from God. That is why it is important that we are ready. Equipped with the tools, we need to stand strong on our firm foundation. God gives us tools to use when the enemy is coming at us. We have the word of God to speak truth over the enemies lies and to know ourselves that God has the victory and will never be defeated. We can pray to talk with God and give him our battles. To communicate with him and align ourselves with him, so we can stand victorious. We can worship and praise in the battle because we know what the outcome is. We know who our God is and what he can do, so we can fully trust him. Worship turns our hearts, minds, and spirits to focus on God rather than the enemy. We need to be equipped with the tools we need, we need to be ready for the battle. Ask God to strengthen your faith. Remember that He is always with you fighting your battles. So we don't have to worry or fear, when we have God on our side.
Prayer:
We thank you Lord that you are fighting our battles. You have never been defeated and you won't start now. So we thank you that we can stand in victory with you. Help us to remember that you are all powerful over the enemy and we have nothing to worry about with you by our side. Equip us with the tools we need for war. Help us to know when and how to us them when the time comes. Drown out any distractions we may have so that we can focus on you and you alone. We want to be in your presence Lord. Guide us on the path that leads to life and help us to never go astray, in Jesus name we pray Amen.
