We need to love each other. It is important for us to show others love. In fact this scripture says if we don't love others we can't love God. We don't get to pick and choose who we love. Just like God loves us all we must also love all people. When we love God we will be filled with his love and we can share that love with others. You never know the difference showing someone kindness and love can make. Everything God does is rooted in love so everything we do should be rooted in love. Sometimes it is not easy to love everyone. In times like these we need to ask God to give us strength and fill us with compassion for others. In times when we struggle to love others we need to remember that God loves them and we need to love them too despite our differences. We don't have to like what people do to love them. We just need to have kindness, compassion and show love to them.
Prayer:
Lord we thank you for your perfect love. We thank you that you are for us and not against us. Fill us with peace, kindness, joy, compassion, and love for others. Help us to be more like you and show your love. Move in our hearts and give us a desire to serve. We ask that you give us peace and strength in times when it is hard, in Jesus name we pray Amen.

If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.
