Daily Devotion 10-24-23

Where do we put our hope? Jesus came and died to give us hope, to let us know that with him our story has a good ending. If we put our hope in anything besides Jesus, we will be let down. We can't put our hope in a future raise, we can't put our hope in the stability of our marriage, we can't put our hope in our own abilities. We can't put our hope in anything of this world because it will only lead to disappointment. The enemy is always looking to bring you down and make you question your faith. But if we keep our hope in the Lord, we will never be disappointed. He will never fail us.

Prayer

Thank you, God, for all the blessings you have given us. Thank you for protecting us and providing for us. Thank you for bringing us hope and joy. Please help us to not put our hope in anything besides You. Please guide us on the path you have for us and help us to do your will. Thank you for giving us peace and strength. Thank you for the grace and mercy you give us each day. Please help us to grow closer to you and to grow our knowledge of your word. Thank you for your unconditional love and thank you for being a faithful God, in Jesus name we pray, Amen.
