Being a follower of Jesus isn’t always easy. It means standing for truth in a world full of compromise. It means loving when others hate, forgiving when others hold grudges, and shining light in dark places. That takes boldness, the kind of boldness that comes from knowing who you belong to.
The Bible calls us to be soldiers of Christ, with the Word of God, faith, righteousness, truth, and peace. A soldier doesn’t run from battle, they stand firm, trained and equipped. God gives us everything we need to stand strong. He gives us His Spirit, His Word, and His armor.
But we must choose to be bold. With a boldness that is firm, faithful, and unashamed. When we know Jesus is with us, we can face any challenge without fear.
Are you standing boldly for Jesus in your everyday life? I challenge you to look at your daily walk and see if there are areas you can stand bolder in and help recruit more Soldiers for Gods Army!
Prayer:
Father God,
Thank You for calling me to be Yours. Use me to do Your will, to be your hands and feet. Give me a boldness to stand strong as a soldier in Your army.
Help me speak truth with love, And live in a way that shows others who You are.
Clothe me in Your armor and guide me through every battle. I trust You to lead me. I will not be afraid for I know who holds tomorrow. Give me the words to speak and to plant the seed to bring more of your people home. In Jesus name,
